A little touch of Andalusia, beautiful blue painted walls, comfy seating inside or in the garden, Casa Keza is one of the recent addition of the Kigali food scene. Located in Kacyiru, this little restaurant is a must go. Open all day long, you will find coffee, breakfast ,tapas and fast wifi.
I’ve been there quite often, it is was always a good moment. The menu is short, but everything on it is really delicious.

I personally love the mushrooms, the grilled artichoke with garlic, the meatballs and the eggplant cook with honey and some balsamic ( they are so delicious that I could seriously consider to just order that ! ). Service is quick, and as in Spain, the waitress will bring you the tapas as soon they are ready, not specially all together but it will be a constant flow on your table.
I also tried the paella ( that you have to order in advance and that you can also order for take-away) and it was a good surprise. Different option vegetarian, chicken, chicken and rabbit or seafood, it is up to you. It is really a good option if you come with a group, you can add some tapas than share the huge paella and drink a lot of their perfect sangria ! Music is good, cocktails and wines too, it is the perfect spot to chill and eat with friends or for a date night.
Edit October 2017. The breakfast menu is lovely. Everything is simple but well executed. The scrambled eggs are delicious and served with homemade bread. They also have pancakes and the week-end you can have a brunch.
Price range : moderate. Each tapas costs between 2 and 5K.
