I love Airbnb. When we arrived in 2014, this service was almost unavailable. Since then , hopefully for me, the offer has increased. What I love with Airbnb is to have the comfort of a home and this feeling that you live there… Even if it is for 3 days only. With kids it is really great, you can follow their rythm, they have more place to play and can make more noise. With friends also ( for the exactly same reasons 🙂 ).
Last week, we spend 3 days in a beautiful house with a private beach in Gisenyi. Two rooms ensuite , a big living room, a small kitchen .
And then my favorite part : a big terrasse and a gorgeous garden.
The weather was not nice but we enjoyed the garden and the beach each day. This house is a gem and if you want to spend some time in Gisenyi, I really recommend you to check if the house is available before checking an hotel !
